PEI PNP — Express Entry
Express Entry aligned · No job offer required
Typical threshold: Ranked on PEI’s own expression-of-interest points grid; no published CRS floor
- · Meet the requirements of the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program or Canadian Experience Class, and hold a profile in the federal Express Entry pool. That is the whole eligibility bar.
- · In practice PEI prioritises candidates already living and working in the province for an eligible PEI employer, so an expression of interest without that is a long shot rather than an impossibility.
- · PEI is currently prioritising health care, trades, childcare and other shortage sectors, and says candidates working in sales and service may not receive an invitation at this time.
- · If you hold a post-graduation work permit from an institution outside PEI, or a spousal open work permit arising from one, you need 9 months of continuous full-time work with the PEI employer supporting you and 4 months left on your permit when you submit.
- · Your expression-of-interest profile stays active for six months. There is no fee to create one; nomination applications cost $300 CAD, non-refundable.
